Lafeya Hamilton is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Phoenix. She is currently studying with the goal to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree. Her concentration is in Correctional Support Services. Her GPA is 3.98. She has mastered the balance of being a mom and an honor student. She has been inducted into several honor societies such as The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, The National Society of Leadership and Success, and also The Golden Key International Honor Society. Her field of study provides her with the tools to assist those in need of mental and support services, especially those who have made contact with the Criminal Justice System. She chose this field because she is compassionate and she believes in second chances. People can change. Her goal is to make a difference in the lives of wayward youth, ex-offenders, substance abusers and women with children needing assistance with re-entry into their community.
In her spare time, Ms. Hamilton enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, learning new things, engaging in intellectual conversations, and Zumba workouts. She is both health and spiritually conscious and loves to let her light shine in order to touch others. You can always catch her with a smile on her face, with a light heart and in good spirits.
